This year 2 of our students have completed their studies. Only Judith will take nursing exams in 2020.
The nursery school is also ready and furnished. There was a slight earthquake in March, when a classroom collapsed. With the finances from their own resources, extra support from our donors and a substantial contribution from the Een Aarde in Asten foundation, they have rebuilt everything in a short time.
They have also cultivated a piece of land to grow tomatoes there, they use the proceeds for maintenance of the buildings.
For the good result we have extended the water pipe. The government has pulled the electricity to the north, the residents themselves have to pay for the connection to the houses. They asked us to pay the electricity to the 3 schools. Now they can also use the buildings in the evenings.
For the future, the intention is to teach illiterate people.
